Two Individuals Accused Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Two individuals are now facing charges following a suitcase robbery where a substance thought to be irritant spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after getting out of a car park lift, police said.

A young child was caught up in the incident during the incident. Several persons went to hospital for treatment and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
